Mac OS X VLC Plug-In


Although the Flip4Mac Quicktime plugin touts the ability to watch WMVs natively with Quicktime within web browsers, it cannot play streaming video. Many problems are encountered with streaming under Flip4Mac: eternity-long loading times, choppy playback and general browser instability.

We are providing a link to a browser plug-in package containing the VLC Internet Plug-in, allowing you to view CerebusTV as it was meant to be viewed. This third party plug-in, used by millions of users, enables full streaming functionality of WMVs in Safari, Firefox, and Opera, as well as any others that share the Internet Plugins. We use it on all our Macs.
